Past President & Legislative Chair
Shannon Moore is a Registered Dietitian and kidney care leader with more than 20 years of experience dedicated to improving the lives of people living with kidney disease. Throughout her career, she has worked across clinical care, nutrition services, and the pharmaceutical industry, bringing a unique perspective to advancing patient care, education, and innovation.
Shannon currently serves as Past President and Legislative Chair of the Florida Renal Association, where she continues to advocate for policies that improve access to care and strengthen support for kidney patients throughout Florida. During her tenure as President, she led statewide initiatives, including the Association’s annual Kidney Day at the Florida Capitol, and worked alongside stakeholders to advance legislation benefiting the kidney community.
In addition to her work with the Florida Renal Association, Shannon serves as Vice President of the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, helping to further the organization’s mission of kidney disease awareness, prevention, and patient advocacy.
Professionally, Shannon serves as National Accounts Director at CorMedix Therapeutics, where she partners with dialysis organizations, hospitals, and health systems to advance innovative kidney care strategies, improve access to new therapies, and support initiatives that enhance patient outcomes across the continuum of care. She is passionate about fostering collaboration among providers, policymakers, and industry partners to improve care and expand access for people living with kidney disease.
