Fatima Ammons is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 20 years of experience leading operational transformation, strategic growth, and organizational excellence across hospital systems, physician-owned practices, and private equity-backed healthcare organizations. As Chief Executive Officer of Central Florida Kidney Specialists, she oversees complex healthcare operations, driving initiatives that improve efficiency, optimize resources, enhance patient outcomes, and strengthen workforce engagement.
Her leadership experience spans multi-state, multi-specialty healthcare organizations with workforces of up to 6,000 team members. Recognized for her ability to align strategy, operations, and culture, Fatima has successfully implemented solutions that reduce costs, leverage technology, and improve organizational performance.
Committed to advancing healthcare beyond her executive role, she serves on the Boards of the National Kidney Foundation of Florida and the Florida Renal Association. Fatima holds degrees in Medical Laboratory Technology, Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and has completed an executive program through Harvard Business School.
