The Governor’s Club Reception is an evening dedicated to networking, connection, and recognition, hosted at the historic Governor’s Club—a private club located just one block from the State Capitol in the heart of downtown Tallahassee. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour, followed by a dinner reception attended by participants from both our Annual Meeting and Kidney Day, along with honorary guests and legislators.
The Florida Renal Association will host a half-day symposium featuring expert speakers and offering up to five CEU credits. This year’s event will take place at the ALOFT Hotel, followed by a Networking Reception in the hotel lobby where attendees can connect, collaborate, and build relationships within the renal community.
Our speaker lineup is currently being finalized, and the full agenda will be released at the end of November.
This year, the Florida Renal Association proudly celebrates the 20th Annual Kidney Day in Tallahassee. Members, guests, and partners will gather on the 3rd floor of the Florida State Capitol for a full day of advocacy, education, and engagement with our state legislators.
Throughout the day, attendees will meet with lawmakers to share important insights, elevate the needs of kidney patients across Florida, and offer a unified voice in support of meaningful policy improvements. Our Legislative Committee is finalizing the 2025 Legislative Agenda, which will be distributed and reviewed with all participants prior to Kidney Day to ensure everyone is prepared and confident in their advocacy conversations.
Kidney Day is consistently a rewarding, empowering, and deeply fulfilling experience—an opportunity for all of us in the kidney community to come together, educate, and make a lasting impact
Florida Kidney Day, organized by the Florida Renal Association (FRA), is intended to educate elected officials on the significance of dialysis treatment and proper kidney care as they work on a budget and seek to pass legislation to fund health care. The 2025 Kidney Day, taking place March 9th and 10th, will be a two day event that will also incorporate a Kidney Walk fundraiser sponsored by the National Kidney Foundation of Florida.
